• Why is my bird gasping for air?
  It could be that your bird has worms or mites affecting his respiratory tract or irritation from something in the air. Consult your vet for further information as some infestations can prove fatal.
• How many birds can live together happily?
  You will need to consider which species of birds prefer to live on their own and which need to have company. Cage size will limit the number of birds you can keep. Your breeder or pet shop will be able to advise you on the recommended cage size and specification.
