Senior pets
As pet rats get older, it’s important to check them more frequently for signs of illness or disease. Often older rats have difficulty grooming, which may lead to a variety of conditions.
Mammary tumours are common in female rats as they get older which appear in the form of lumps. Take your rat to a vet for advice, if your pet develops lumps.
